Welcome Back Week Open House

The Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center will be hosting a Welcome Back open house from 11am-2p.m. on Tuesday, September 9.  Students, faculty and staff may tour the facility, sample group fitness classes, receive free 5 minute massages, climb the rock wall, meet with personal trainers and learn about all of the sports and wellness programs that the Mort Harris RFC has to offer.

Thanks for making the 2nd annual Warrior Games a tremendous success!  With 23 organizations participating the campus was alive with student competitions.  Congratulations to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity for winning this years competition.  We thank all of the organizations for promoting campus life at Wayne State Univeristy.  A special thanks to Jacob Kinde and Clio Clinitis for their outstanding commitment to organizing the Games.

The 2nd annual Warrior Games is sponsored by the WSU Student Council and Campus Recreation.  This week long event is a competition of all WSU students and organizations.  These events encourage spirited competition to enhance campus life.  The event is free to all students and organizations.  Warrior Games combines recreational and intellectual games.  The Warrior Games were established to give students and organizations an avenue to build stronger relationships amongst themselves as well as publicize and social throughout the WSU community.  The Warrior Games is a spirited tool to building campus life.
