The Matthaei Center's facilities are only available to actively enrolled Wayne State students and members of Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center. As is true at Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center, you must have your OneCard available upon entrance.

Matthaei's open recreation hours are limited due to classes, varsity athletic events, department programs, and special events, which take prority over recreation.

Open Swim Hours

Monday - Friday

• 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Matthaei Policies and Procedures

• All open recreation will be canceled in the evenings during athletic events.
• All members are required to swipe their OneCard upon entrance to the building. There are no exceptions. Matthaei's facility office reserves the right to check all IDs.
• Unauthorized locks are not to be left on overnight.
• For additional recreation and building info, call the facility office at 313-577-4295.
• Lost and found articles will be stored for no more than 30 days.
