Mission Statement

The Men's Club Soccer team is for anyone who wants to competitively play soccer. We compete in the Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference (MASC), where we play against other nearby college club soccer teams during the fall semester. Tryouts are held in September, so come out and help us win our first playoff championship! 

Team News and Updates:

Anyone who is enrolled in at least 6+ credit hours at Wayne State University during the Fall semester is eligible to tryout.

Tryouts will consist of different small-sided games/drills, as well as larger scrimmages taking place later in the day.  There will be cuts at the end of each day, to be determined by the captains.  At the end of the third day, the captains will determine the final roster.

Check back in August for information on pre-registration for tryouts.

 

Tryouts for the Fall 2023 team will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, 8/29 @ 6:00-8:15pm (arrive 30 minutes prior)

Wednesday, 8/30 @ 6:00-8:15pm (arrive 30 minutes prior)

Thursday, 8/31 @ 6:00-8:15pm (arrive 15 minutes prior)

 

Tryouts will be held on campus on our new soccer field, located between the football stadium and Trumbull Ave.  Parking in Lot 50, on the service drive, or on the residential streets around Pie-Sci/Woodbridge Pub is highly encouraged. Please bring the following items with you:

• OneCard, Driver's License, or other government-issued ID
• Health Insurance Card
• Shin guards, cleats, and socks
• Water
• $20 tryout fee (cash preferred)
