Outdoor Adventure Club welcomes all students at Wayne State who are interested in outdoor adventures. We aim to help bring students together and provide an encouraging and supportive student body who are excited to learn about the outdoors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do we do? 

We provide a space for students to engage in activities promoting health and wellness, including climbing, hiking, and backpacking. 

Activities may include

• Rock Climbing

• Hiking

• Backpacking

• Swimming

• Rafting

• Camping

• Skiing/Snowboarding

Membership Dues

$225 for September 2023-August 2024

You are not able to join in on any club events until you have paid your dues

Dues are payable in cash, or Venmo.

Rock Climbing Mondays!

Every Monday 7 pm-9 pm we have a climbing meetup.

You are not required to be a member of the Outdoor Adventure Club, but you are required to have a membership to the Wayne State Climbing Wall. For more information about the Climbing Wall, click here.

Positions we are looking to fill...

Treasurer - handles all financial affairs and budgeting, maintains accounting records, organizes fundraisers, and prepares monthly financial reports for the membership.​

Activity Leaders (2) - will be responsible for helping to organize and lead outdoor trips and club meetings.​

Communication Manager - oversees keeping notes at any meetings, sending out monthly update emails to club members, and relaying any information about fundraisers and trips to members.​

Fundraising Manager - will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all club fundraising events. They will also manage club sponsorships.​
