Facility rentals are only available on Saturday and Sunday due to Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Programs, and reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.

  • Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center sets the fee structure and has the authority to change fees for reservation needs. Rental fees do not cover the cost of staffing the facility. For reservations outside regular facility operating hours, an employee wage fee is charged to the user group. Staffing needs are determined by the facility director in conjunction with the individual submitting the reservation request.
  • Payments must be paid 7 days prior to your event, or we will release your rental date.
  • Fees for equipment rental are charged when applicable (climbing wall equipment, towels, etc.).
  • All groups and organizations that are not recognized WSU student organizations, or have members who are not WSU currently enrolled students, must provide a certificate of general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 naming the WSU Board of Governors as additionally insured prior to any reservation.
  • High ropes course and rock wall rentals do not need a liability insurance certificate because they are lead by Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center climbing wall staff.
